Projeto criado a partir da união de músicos experientes do Underground de Itapira – SP, oriundos de bandas de peso como “Manthus”, “Enema Violence”, “Godzilla” e “Executer”, o Slasher inovou o cenário local em 2008, unindo elementos clássicos do Thrash Metal (Slayer, Kreator) à agressividade do Hardcore, somado à qualidade melódica do Metal tradicional
Com letras fortes e diretas – herdadas de antigos projetos dos integrantes e aprimoradas pelo novo conjunto, Slasher faz duras críticas a sociedade, referentes à religiosidade, política e conflitos psicológicos.
A banda está divulgando de seu primeiro EP, “Broken Faith”, álbum independente gravado no Piccoli Studio em Campinas – SP.
o EP conta com as músicas: “Broken Faith”, “Enemy of Reality”, “Art of War” e “Tormento ou Paz”.

A joint of experienced musicians from the Underground of Itapira – São Paulo / Brazil, former members of highly influence bands such as "Manthus", "Enema Violence," Godzilla" and "Executer", Slasher innovated to the local scene in 2008, uniting elements of the classic Thrash Metal (i.e. Slayer and Kreator) and the aggressiveness of Hardcore, summed to the quality of the traditional melodic metal.
With straight and harsh lyrics - inherited from former projects and enhanced by the new formation - Slasher heavily criticizes society, faith and politics, while struggling inner conflicts. The band release its first EP, "Broken Faith," an independent album recorded at Piccoli Studio in Campinas – São Paulo. The EP will count on the following songs: "Broken Faith", "Enemy of Reality", "Art of War" and "Tormento ou Paz.
